It was a revelation when I vacuum formed my first pearl at college. The way it captured the light in the clear acrylic was a stunning added bonus. From that moment on I only ever wanted to make and design jewellery that involved less conventional materials and techniques. This, coupled with an interest in great chunks of clear etched acrylic, knotted and tied with thick tactile cords seemed to form the perfect partnership. I think it is safe to say I have found my two great passions in jewellery design and making.
